Counseling Cohorts are combined efforts between Churches/Christians and Academic Institutions near them.
These Cohorts serve as bridges for families to move from basic Biblical counseling to a more medical counseling format. The Cohort provides for a better understanding—in the Community—of “why and when” behaviors are most dramatically altered by these sociologically and psychologically effective methods of treatment.
These bridges also enable families to move from a primarily medical counseling format to a more cognitive, Bible based form and style of counseling as they recognize that some difficulties may be solved by proper understanding of how faith plays a role in influencing, enhancing, reducing and eliminating decisions that cause dysfunction and stress.
