The Preaching Portal

The Preaching Portal is where is where non-pastoring Ministers who are looking to serve, and Churches who need their services, enlist, commit, and share in meeting the needs of one another, by bringing preaching and the need for preaching together for the fulfillment of worship in the Church Community.

The arrangement is designed to ensure that each Church and Preacher may fulfill a spiritual need created by a temporarily vacant pastorate. The portal does not aide in calling or hiring Pastors, nor in placing potential Pastors in Churches. The service is temporary, intended for those Preachers who are looking only for providing a temporary solution to the Church’s momentary need.

Both Church and Minister may enroll in the program by completing the enclosed Program application. A letter of acceptance and approval will be sent, if the said Church and Preacher is accepted into the program. A Minister may enroll in the program for up to 20 weeks, during which time, he/she will spend time preaching at up to 20 different Churches. Each Church may expect a different preacher each Sunday as the program requires that once enrolled the preaching cycle be completed.

The Portal will supply for two needs of the Church. The first is the Pastoral vacancy program which supplies for Churches without pastors. The second is the Pastoral Vacation program, which is shorter in duration, where the Church has a pastor, but he/she is scheduled to take vacation and the service only attends to this temporary break.
